Born in 1900, Toribio Romo was a beloved priest and Mexican martyr of the Cristero War. Many believe he aids those crossing the border and leads them to safety. The icon will go to St. Mathew's Parish in Phoenix AZ where pastor Fr. Ray, like St Toribio, serves the immigrants.
