The Song of Bernadette...Jennifer Jones won an Oscar for playing her in 1949. Leonard Cohen write a song about her which is glorious, performed by Jennifer Warnes. Everybody knows Lourdes is a place for Healing. She shares the same feast as Benedict Labre, April 16.

I try to bring true devotion and prayer into the process of writing an icon, dependent upon the inspiration of the Blessed Trinity, the saints, holy ones, and the Mother of God.
