St Andrei Rublev Patron of Iconographers and the one I dedicated my studio too. He painted the "icon of icons" The Holy Trinity in 1400's . Magnificent icon impossible to copy though it's often tried. A movie was made about him in 1960's by Andrei Tarkovsky one of the best 15 films ever made. Feast day July 4.

St. Paul, Colossians 3:11 I honor and revere the Byzantine icons and the profound spirituality of the Othodox churches. I try to bring true devotion and prayer into the process of writing an icon, dependent upon the inspiration of the Blessed Trinity, the saints, holy ones, and the Mother of God.
